Domain Quiz Level 3

Instructions

  • The following quiz is a measure of how well you have learned the material from the domain sections of the Algebra Series.
  • The Domain Quizzes are split into three levels, with the questions getting harder each level. It's suggested you start at level 1 and work your way up.
  • This is the last Domain Quiz. If you scored well and can answer the self-assessment questions, then you are ready for the next topic of the Algebra Series.
  • If you missed some questions, you may want to watch the videos suggested for those problems. Or you can review the domain sections.

Self Assessment

  2. Are you able to specify how we determine the restrictions for each of the three types of expressions/functions that can give domain restrictions?
  3. When given a function, are you able to determine the domain in interval notation?
  4. Are you able to explain how to determine the existence and location of holes or vertical asymptotes for a rational function?
